How it started

The idea for Otria came from its founder’s experience of moving to Barcelona. Without speaking Spanish, comparing electricity offers and understanding what she was signing proved difficult. She later discovered that the plan she had chosen didn’t suit her flat—and she was paying more than she needed to each month.

Finding a better option took hours of research: understanding how tariffs worked, reading the conditions and working out what suited her home and daily routine.

Then she moved to another flat. With a different heating setup and different energy needs, the plan she had worked so hard to choose no longer made sense.

That experience inspired Otria: helping people understand their electricity options, choose a tariff that fits their home and feel informed before signing—in a language they understand.

What we’re building

Otria helps households in Spain compare a curated selection of fixed electricity tariffs based on their home, consumption and preferences.

We bring the important details into view:
